Terms of Use
Last updated October 30, 2026
These terms govern your use of PDF Measure (pdfmeasure.com), operated by Charmillon LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company (“we”, “us”). By using PDF Measure, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.
The service
PDF Measure is a free tool for viewing, measuring and marking up PDF documents in your browser. We may change, add or remove features, or suspend or discontinue the service, at any time.
Your files
Your files and the measurements and markups you make remain yours. They stay on your device, as described in our Privacy Policy. You’re responsible for having the right to use the documents you open, and for keeping your own copies of your work. Browser storage can be cleared, so export anything you need to keep.
Check your measurements
Measurements depend on the scale you set and on the accuracy of the PDF itself. Drawings may not be to scale, and a scale can be set incorrectly. PDF Measure is not professional advice. Check important dimensions and quantities against the source drawings, and with a qualified professional where appropriate, before relying on them for purchasing, bids, construction, permits or any other decision.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the service: for example, don’t interfere with or disrupt it, attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, overload it with automated requests, or use it to break the law or infringe anyone’s rights.
Our rights
The PDF Measure name, logo, design and software belong to Charmillon LLC, except third-party components, which are provided under their own licenses. These terms don’t give you any rights to them beyond using the service.
No warranty
PDF Measure is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that measurements will be accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Charmillon LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue or business, arising from your use of or inability to use PDF Measure, including reliance on any measurement. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to fifty U.S. dollars ($50).
Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Charmillon LLC harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the service or your violation of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to them or to the service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Mexico, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll post the new version here and change the date at the top. Using PDF Measure after a change means you accept the updated terms.
